franc franc
Here is Pilar enjoying something I love, my sofa, and something Sergio loves, watching the street from the sofa. This sofa has been with me for about eight years and I got in Tokyo at Franc Franc, and I can't imagine loafing without it, it's so comfy. Now here is my little bee enjoying it too. The back of the sofa is perfect for her to stand and hold onto something, and she loves doing this! As you can see from her expressions. I also love her little pants and how they accentuate her derriere...cosita bella!
antilop chair
Pilar has graduated to a highchair, she is an official solid food eater now. We got her the antilop chair from ikea, it's great! Lightweight, simple, easy to use, and affordable! I have had a stack of bibs and I never thought I would use all of them. I got a lot as gifts and some hand-me-downs. Well what was I thinking, silly mommy, I can barely keep one clean! On the bright side, Pilar loves to sit in her chair, and actually likes eating, and playing with her food. Here she is, with one of her old pals, raplapla. This bib we bought at Target, the line is DwellStudio.
swimming part two
Okay, we did the swimming class again, and Pilar was a little more into this time, but only slightly. She is not so interested in the water but very interested in the goings on around her. You can actually see her trying to look around me at some of the swimmers. On the pool side she inspects a drain, and finally notices another baby! Woohoo, a little boy named Max. Have a look at the photos, there are lots, sorry I couldn't decide so here are many of them. Also, I put her in a bathing suit this time, not just her little swimmers huggies, so she looks a little more stylish. It was a hand-me-down, thanks Nicole!
pole dancing
So Pilar is mobile, as I have mentioned, and she slithers around pretty well now. She pushes with her toes, and pulls with her hands. She is attracted to shiny metal things like a bug to a light. One of her first discoveries, and still her favorite thing is the pole (foot rest) under our island in the kitchen. The photos say it all! Enjoy.
