What is a raplapla you ask? Well it's Pilar's new friend from Stella and Andrew. Raplapla is from Montreal, and is made of organic cotton, is very soft, and Pilar loves to suck and chew on raplapla's hair/ ears and the tag, she loves tags!

Here she is in the tummy tub...standing. She actually doesn't want to sit in the tub anymore, she prefers to stand and hold the sides, and watch herself in the mirror. We use these orange plastic cups to rinse her, and she goes crazy for the cups. When we let the water drop like a little waterfall she loves how the water feels on her hands. Such a curious and observant little person!

Here are some recent photos of our little girl, she's almost 6 months old! She loves to lay on her tummy, and in these photos she is playing with one of her oldest friends, the fluffy lamb from kate and mike. Lately Pilar is blowing raspberries all the time, and generally amusing herself, and us. In one of the photos she gets a surprise kiss from dad, which she LOVES.

Pilar has discovered cups, among many other things, and here she is enjoying a blue plastic cup at grandma Sharen's. She is now obsessed with these cups. When we bath her in the tummy tub, she doesn't sit anymore, she only likes to stand (photos to come) so we use these cups to pour water on her and rinse her. As soon as she sees the cups coming for the rinse she goes crazy for them, they HAVE to go into her mouth.

Pilar has finally gotten big enough to enjoy this jungle jumperoo. The seat bounces like her jolly jumper, and the saucer has lots of interactive toys and sounds for her to play with...she LOVES it!

Here is Pilar wearing her new winter hat that grandma Sharen got for her at baby gap. She actually doesn't mind wearing this hat, it has really nice soft fleece on the inside, and it keeps her stylish and warm! She goes for one walk almost every day in her stroller and takes a nice long nap. We usually walk main street or do our shopping at the mall. Sophie the giraffe usually comes along for the ride ;-)

5 months

Well our little baby is now 5 months old! Time really does go by so fast. It's weird too, it feels like she's been with us a lot longer, we feel like she's been our daughter forever. She is such a good natured little person, she has a very gentle and curious personality. She loves to smile and laugh and make noises. She has a slightly comical attitude also, she loves to goof around, just like all babies do I guess. She is very social. She is rolling over, touching her toes, sucking her toes, and now she is trying to grab everything in sight! She can sit with some help, she loves to stand, but she's still wobbly. bathing beauty

well pilar just loves bath time, and she is getting very independent in the bath now. she loves to lock her legs and stand for a while, then we have to push her knees in to help her sit. we have been alternating between the sink and the tummy tub, and occasionally in the bath with mom, though the last time we did that she pooped in the bath! she is super flexible like all baby's, she can now put her toes in her mouth, yum!
